DENNIS BROWNE, Q.C.

Dennis Browne, Q.C. has been a Labour Arbitrator since 1984. He specializes in Alternate Dispute Resolution, having recently completed studies in Negotiation/Mediation at Harvard Law School. Dennis chaired the Newfoundland Labour Relations Board from 1989-1998 and was Provincial Consumer Advocate from 1996-2004. He is a Federal and Provincial Arbitrator and his decisions have been published nationally.

Dennis graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1983, where he was awarded the prize in Constitutional Law. He also holds Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and Master of Education (Administration) degrees from Memorial University. Dennis is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Canadian Bar Association.
